Cassandra Moodley

Cassandra is a young, South African passionate about active citizenry, youth leadership and equality.

She is the Founder of Change Agents; a for-youth, by youth civic education platform that provides workshops to high school learners. Cassandra is also an avid speaker, and her speaking experience spans organisations and institutions such as the United Nations (COP17), South African Presidency, TEDx (TEDxWaterFallDrive) and the International Republican Institution (IRI).  Cassandra is also a contributing author to the book, “Perils of Patriarchy”.

Professionally, Cassandra has enjoyed working in the International and Governance Relations Unit of the eThekwini Municipality as a Junior Administrator. She now works to implement capital projects in the ICT sector, as Projects Coordinator for the Splendid Group, a privately owned group of companies.

Cassandra serves as a SADC Youth Ambassador to the Generation Democracy programme, and is a proud Global Shaper, committed to seeing tangible, positive impact in the city of Johannesburg.
