Saieshan Govinder

Saieshan has vast experience in startups, innovation and technology and is passionate about children, youth and education. This led him to pursue internships at Nova Pioneer, a Pan-African affordable education institution in Johannesburg and then at African Leadership University (ALU), a world-class tertiary institution educating Africa’s future leaders in Mauritius.

His work experience includes driving the digital job creation stream at the Youth Employment Service (YES), a non-profit, business-driven collaboration launched and supported by the South African Presidency to create one million employment opportunities for unemployed youth. Saieshan is an Obama Africa Leader, World Economic Forum Global Shaper and Davos 2020 Delegate. Saieshan is committed to making a positive impact across Africa, through enriching and empowering the lives of children and youth.
